Designing this environmental magazine spread in InDesign was an opportunity to apply both my editorial layout skills and my passion for raising awareness through design. I began by collecting powerful, high-resolution imagery that visually told the story of Central America’s plastic crisis, then structured the content to guide the reader through a visual and emotional journey. Using a bold typographic hierarchy and strategic use of color—especially red for urgency—I emphasized key messages without overpowering the imagery. InDesign allowed me to maintain consistent grids, align text with visuals, and refine spacing to create a balanced, professional composition. This project deepened my understanding of how layout, photography, and storytelling come together to create meaningful and impactful editorial design.

Creating this Top Gear-inspired magazine spread in InDesign was an exciting opportunity to combine my passion for sleek editorial design with the power and precision of automotive branding. I focused on balancing bold typography with high-impact photography, allowing the 2023 Mercedes AMG-1 to command attention while keeping the layout clean and structured. Using paragraph and character styles, I maintained consistency throughout the multi-page feature, and adjusted spacing, alignment, and hierarchy to guide the reader’s eye naturally across the spreads. Each element—from the barcode to the header treatments—was carefully placed to echo the feel of a professional, print-ready publication.
