Designing this website homepage for Open Doors was an impactful experience that allowed me to merge thoughtful user experience design with a mission-driven message. I focused on creating a clean, intuitive layout that highlights the organization’s core services, values, and community involvement while maintaining a welcoming and trustworthy tone. I used a warm, accessible color palette and clear hierarchy to guide visitors toward key actions like volunteering, donating, or learning more about homelessness solutions. The hero image and call-to-action buttons were carefully chosen and placed to instantly connect users with the heart of the organization’s work. This project deepened my skills in web design, content structuring, and brand communication, while also reinforcing how design can elevate a nonprofit’s ability to connect with and inspire its community.
